Du verwendest das MKS-Toolkit? Wenn ja, nicht mit Perl! Strawberry Perl hat alles was es braucht!

Nimm bitte jeden Verweis auf MKS-Toolkit aus deinem Pfad!

vielen Dank für die schnelle Antwort. Wenn ich aus der Umgebungsvariable PATH alle Verweise auf MKS-Toolkit entferne, erhalte ich trotzdem noch dieselben Meldungen. Gibt es noch andere Stellen mit Verweisen auf MKS-Toolkit, die ich löschen könnte?

Ich besitze kein MKS, deswegen muss ich eher vermuten.

Du kannst dir in der DOS-Box doch anzeigen lassen, welche Umgebungsvariablen gesetzt sind.
Einfach mal
c:> SET
und dann schauen, was mit MKS zu tun hat.

in SHELL stand genau das Programm C:\PROGRA~1\MKSTOO~1\mksnt\sh.exe drin, das zum Abbruch geführt hat. Ich habe SHELL gelöscht und die Installation lief schon viel weiter. Leider bricht die Installation mit Meldungen ab, zu denen ich auch keinen Lösungsansatz finden kann:

Hallo GwenDragon, vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Ich habe herausgefunden, dass zwar die Variable DB2_HOME gesetzt, im DB2-Client aber das Application-Development-Tool nicht installiert war. Bei einem neuen Versuch erhalte ich neue Fehler:
dbdimp.o:dbdimp.c:(.text+0x5657): undefined reference to `SQLBindFileToParam@32'

dbdimp.o:dbdimp.c:(.text+0x6892): undefined reference to `SQLGetLength@20'
dbdimp.o:dbdimp.c:(.text+0x6a2a): undefined reference to `SQLGetSubString@40'

Ich habe wohl Tomaten auf den Augen, aber auch hierzu finde ich keine mir verständliche Erklärung...

Also unter Windows sehe ich in der Testermatrix auf http://matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=DBD-DB2%201.84... dass nur die Version 0.9a-5.8.8 sauber kompilierte.

Dann versuche rückwärtsgehend (also ältere) Versionen zu installieren bis es klappt. Welche das sind, kannst du auf CPAN einsehen.

pack das tar.gz mal aus, gehe ins verzeichnis und tippe dann cpan . (bedeutet "installiere modul, welches in diesem verzeichnis liegt")

Sieht wohl so aus, dass du DBD-DB2 nicht unter Windows kompiliert bekommst.

  Damit hatte ich nicht gerechnet... Momentan habe ich einen Zugriff mit Win32::ODBC realisiert. Er macht Probleme beim Zugriff auf XML-Felder einer DB2-Tabelle. Ich hatte gelesen, dass diese Anbindung veraltet ist und über DBD::DB2 Einstellungen möglich sind, die einen Zugriff auf ein XML-Feld ermöglichen.
  Welche Alternative habe ich denn noch, um ordentlich mit XML-Feldern arbeiten zu können?
